First Bank invites students for savings promo

In alignment with its financial inclusion drive, First Bank of Nigeria Limited says it has introduced a promotional campaign aimed at rewarding its youth segment customers for using their FirstBank XploreFirst savings accounts, while also encouraging healthy savings habit. In a statement, the bank said the promo, which kicked off on October 1, 2018, would run for six months to March 30, 2019. Fr. Ejike Mbaka declares "No Vacancy in Enugu Government House"

The Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka on Sunday declared that there is no vacancy in the Enugu State Government House in 2019, stressing that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has done excellently well in office and deserves a second term. Fr. Mbaka poured encomiums on Gov. Ugwuanyi, describing him as "a good, kindhearted, humble, peace-loving and God-fearing leader", who has judiciously managed the lean resources of the state for the benefit of the people. A failed car robbery case which happened on the 4th of August, 2018 at the Maria Assumpta cathedral Owerri during a Priestly Ordination Mass which was celebrated by His Grace Anthony John Valentine Obinna, Archbishop of Owerri ecclesiastical Province.
