TO BE BEAUTIFUL MEANS TO BE YOURSELF

To be beautiful means to be you. You don't need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself. If you go through life seeking to please everyone but yourself, you will never be pleased with your life. There are so many afflicted with such good hearts in this world that they refuse to see what their life could really be because of the fear of losing someone's favor. Today is the day to claim the life that you desire in spirit, and to live outside of the lines that have only kept you caged, voiceless, and mediocre. It is your time to be the greatest you that you can be! It is time to take charge, to fight for the things that you know should be yours in life, to color outside of the lines, and to explore new parts of life that you never knew you could be great in. You are not in this world to live up to the expectations of any person; you are here to be the greatest you that you can be!

NEVER LOSE YOURSELF…YOU ARE VERY PRECIOUS

Don't lose yourself in attempt to hold on to someone who doesn't care about losing you. Everybody wants to be wanted. A discovery that sometimes we have to let go is very discouraging and heart breaking. As hard as it may be, letting go is at many times what we need to grow. Just as many flowers won’t blossom the way that they are supposed to without the proper pruning and care so are our lives. Without the proper release of people who are weighing down our lives, many times sour lives won’t grow like they are supposed to. So take the steps that you are supposed to take today, and let go of whatever it is that you are supposed to let goof, free yourself to grow and be all that you can be! The true test of a person isn't about how much they have been through to get to the point where they are now, but it is instead about how much a person is willing to do each day to make his or her future the brightest future that it may possibly become. We must be willing to start over, an...

Briefing journalists after plenary, Omo-Agege said the nation’s institutions of higher learning must be sanitised to rid them of lecturers who saw female students as “prize’.” According to him, when the bill is passed and signed into law, any lecturer found guilty will be liable to a jail term of up to five years but not less than two years with no option of fine. “W...

FG bans wood, charcoal exportation

THE Federal Government has banned wood and charcoal exportation, following exporters’ refusal to adhere to the directive of cut-one plant-two policy. The Chief Executive Officer of Nigerian Export Promotion Council, NEPC, Mr. Olusegun Awolowo, disclosed this at the just- concluded two-day retreat organised by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation, UNIDO, at the Free Trade Zone, Onne, Rivers State, for the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment and its agencies. Awolowo told Vanguard that the new directive had thrown exporters of charcoal into confusion as some of them had existing agreements with their partners abroad. He said government must explain the reason for the move, adding “I just got that circular; this is part of the policy somersault we are talking about. “How can the government ban charcoal when people have been processing it? They did not even carry exporters along.” Also confirming the development, Customs Public Relat...
