Feverish tension in Abuja as Saraki, Nigeria’s Senate President, has his convoy blocked from leaving his street on the orders of the Presidency.
The police have blocked the Senate President Bukola Saraki's convoy at Lake chad junction on his way to report to the police headquarters upon the last night invitation by the police.
Another reports coming in says, Deputy Senate President Ike Ekweremadu"s residence has been surrounded by the DSS, the siege may have been plotted against all Principal officers of the National Assembly. -
Operatives from the Special Anti Robbery Squad unit of the Nigeria Police, on Tuesday morning, have blocked the convoy of Senate President Bukola Saraki from leaving his Maitama Residence.
The stern-looking policemen, it was learnt, stormed the residence at about 6:00a.m. and prevented vehicles from coming in or going out of the expansive residence of Nigeria’s third citizen.
