Akpors wallet

AKPORS' wallet was stolen inside an over- crowded Lagos commercial bus. Furious and extremely agitated, AKPORS sprang up and shouted, “If my stolen wallet is not returned to me now, then what happened in 1973 when my wallet was stolen will happen again today”.
Struck with fear, the passengers started pleading with one another to return the wallet in order to avert the impending doom and calamity.
AKPORS shouted again at the top of his voice,” If my stolen wallet is not returned to me now, be sure to see the repeat of what happened in 1973 here in Lagos when someone stole my wallet in a bus”.
The thief brought out the wallet and threw it at the man. When he got down at his bus stop, a passenger that saw and heard everything followed him and said,
“AKPORS, thank God that we are safe. But what really happened in 1973 that day someone stole your wallet? What did you do?”
AKPORS replied, “After searching for my lost wallet, I went home when I did not see it. What else would I have done than to TREK go home?
This is Lagos”.
